| I've decided to hold back until the entire recap is written. I'll post it in three different posts. One for each day.

| I like Proust...at least Botton has me keen on him. I haven't read In Search Of Lost Time,
perhaps this summer. I won't become a Proust scholar though, for that
would be against the Proustian philosophy, however making my decision
based on that also contradicts the Proustian way. Oh, I Kant win!

| Meanwhile
I acknowledged the shadows. Deep in the multifaceted layers of the
known forests of the moon sit the owls of who sing all night about the
woes of their loneliness. The branches have censored their identities
for the promise of a true confession that in turn brings out true art.
I haven’t yet realized my own capabilities to this day, so it is not as
far fetched to see a young man present his ideas without a particular
ownership or fancy in the marketplace.
On this day I threw
most of that out the window. There was a towering structure that I
couldn’t hide from. When you mix that and the fear of a young girl’s
heart, you might as well fly right through the jailhouse spotlights.
I’m a fugitive, “she knows all that I want.” She knows I am an
assistant basketball coach.
The intramural basketball team that
I coach, the Ball Handlers, is a serious competitor of yellow on gold.
Yes, I am only the assistant coach; I coach the offense to be more
specific, but I keep all of the players “unselfish,” and promote ball
movement before the shot: “three passes!! three passes,” ninety percent
of what you’d hear me yell out during the course of a game from the
sideline. As for the head coach; Coach Nic Acosta owns the infamous
quote of, “Everything I touch turns to gold,” an ironic saying I assume
in reference to the color of our team attire.
That roaring gym
conjures up visions of Ball Handler’s faces buckling down their waists
to the intimidation that gives way to the Alan Parson’s Project which
will unleash each of them one by one onto our opponents. Take one look
at David's, or Nic's, or my own face and you will not see us budge.
This is a business, and we are businessmen. -Doctor Jones

| Like all lists, mine in particular, they really don't matter. Needless to say, they are still a lot of fun to make. I feel like I haven't listened to as much music as in years past and so before everyone comes out with their own I'll make mine free of outside expert influence. Keep in mind, these are just the albums that have stayed with me and the ones that don't seem to stray too far from my car stereo. These are the albums that I believe I'll still look back to in years to come.
